Photography and art have been part of Michelle Schofield's life from a young age. She specialised in Art & Media Studies throughout secondary school, and went on to study at the Photography Studies College in Melbourne - right at the time when digital photography was just an emerging subject. Her training in the art of film & darkroom printing has given her a unique appreciation for capturing and managing light that she uses now in her digital photography.
For the last 20 years she has integrated photography into her life through contracted work and created Emily Grace Artwork, named after her two girls and inspired by a passion for capturing the magic of our world during a period of extended travel as a family. Each piece she captures and creates is inspired by the seemingly limitless beauty of the natural environment, and the eye-opening wonder and diversity of our developed world.
