Susan Gillette's abstract artworks capture a unique essence of the Australian pastoral and bush landscape. Bright, luminous colours mix with earthy tones to create pieces that have an intriguing depth and narrative. Having been exhibiting since 2010, Susan enjoys sharing her passion for art and paints regularly with a group, as well as solo from her own studio.
Growing up in Sydney before moving to Melbourne, Susan has studied at the Julian Ashton School and the School of Colour and Design in Sydney as well as studying directly under several artists. Building on layers of form, Susan's works have a gentle texture and detail characteristic of her expressionist interpretation.
