Painting depicts a women's ceremony in Ruby's mother's country, south east of Kiwirrkura in the western desert. Like most desert art it represents the stories in planar (aerial) view of the storylines in the landscape. Concentric circular motifs represent water holes connected dotted parallel lines signifying the travelling (or ‘song’) lines of the women. Other design elements indicate sand hills, rocky outcrops and other landscape features.
