In a style reminiscent of the late, great Emily Kngwarreye, Jeannie paints the flowers of the 'Ruby Dock' plant, which was brought into Australia as packing in the saddle bags of Afghani camels and subsequently spread over the deserts. The plant has striking pink yellow or cream flowers that create a sea of color in the desert after the rains.
