Peta is particularly inspired by the colours of her country upbringing, especially the strong, warm colours of the Victorian Mallee region. As she works, she lets each painting evolve, building up layers of paint allowing surprises to occur. Some paintings are spontaneous and resolve quickly, while others take time and a process of letting go.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0849/0506/6804/collections/HeartIcon_Artist-Collection_85d37564-ffc8-4379-bf22-cefabf82bc78.jpg?v=1790571548
