Leah Mariani
Melbourne based artist, Leah Mariani started painting in 2010 when pregnant with her first child - instead of the usual pregnancy cravings, Leah found she had the sudden urge to paint. Her art reflects her experiences as a woman and as a mother, and through her work she explores identity, relationships, and what makes people tick. Leah's work is figurative, decorative, colourful and feminine. She has a strong interest in pattern and includes it in nearly all her works through collaged fabric and paper.
