Loue in the Haze

Brian Connolly is a multimedia artist whose practice includes street art, large scale murals, apparel design, paintings, and ceramics. His works are intuitive, introspective, and inquiring into the human psyche, often centred around personal growth and growth of the spiritual self. In particular, the flowers in his artwork represent a bridge between the natural world and human life and the idea that we all have an internal garden that we must continuously nourish.

In my paintings, I depict ethereal and fluid figures, with elements of naivety which reinforces the idea of finding the true beauty in the imperfect 

Working from Bundjalung Country (Byron Bay), Brian Connolly has quickly established himself with a career showcasing his work across exhibitions and through notable collaborations, some of which include the Accor Group at the Pullman Hotell, Art Ink Gin, and Edwards & Co Hair and Beauty Salon. These collaborations have not only generated considerable media attention but have also led to commissioned Murals in prominent locations such as the Calile Hotel Precinct and the flagship Mecca Cosmetica store in Sydney’s CBD.
