Robyn Rankin creates artwork with bold, figurative interpretations of childhood, transporting the viewer into a world that is both exuberant and introspective. Simple figures are reminiscent of cut-out paper dolls, painted with exaggerated poses and suspended on richly layered backgrounds.
After graduating Swinburne University, Robyn has followed a career in both graphic design and photography before pursuing her love affair with paint in 2000. Robyn Rankin's work can now be found in private collections across Australia and overseas, and has even been featured in Selective Contemporary Artists of Australia by Michael Berry.
