These new works celebrate friendship between women. The older I get, the more I realise how important it is for every woman to have another woman who truly sees her: no jealousy or competition. Just love, support, and good vibes. That's what this series is about: womanhood, friendship and women supporting women.
Popular narratives have long favoured the lone female protagonist, often surrounded by, or defined in relation to, men. Only recently has the theme of women supporting women gained the visibility and celebration it deserves.
