Alvo Dourado Volume 3
43 x 43 cm
Mixed media on gold canvas, framed in dark stained timber.
Alvo Dourado, meaning "golden target" in Portuguese, is painted directly onto gold canvas, with a bullseye at its centre and rays extending outward like a sun. The gold surface catches and shifts with the light. The work explores focus, intention and direction.
