This painting is a study of warm afternoon sunlight catching the edge of the riverbank and igniting the rock and foliage with fiery colour. Observed during my time in southern Tasmania, the scene reflects the way places are constantly shifting, with each evening bringing different colours, light, and moods as the seasons change.
