Rondure House

Kew, Victoria

Brief

Set on the cusp of Melbourne’s largest area of natural bushland, Rondure House, located in Kew, Victoria, sets a benchmark in multi residential design. Boasting 14 exceptional 2 and 3 bedroom residences and penthouses found amongst the natural beauty of Studley Park, Kew.

Boutique property developers; Above Zero collaboarted with leading London-based designer Tom Dixon, for furniture and lighting, which compliments the interiors. Along with the Cera Stribley as the projects Interior Designers, the studio’s signature
can be seen at Rondure House, with his distinctive wingback armchairs and brass pendant lights, greeting residents upon arrival.

Art to Art were briefed to adorn the entrance foyer with a collection of art that complemented the arrival of its residence.

Inspiration

After walking through the landscaped garden entrance to the beautifully appointed foyer, it was evident that the collection be worldy and of high excellence to compliment the colours and textures of the interior.

Gabrielle Jones’ large abstract artwork bursts with an exquisite intensity of colour, displaying deep tones that recede while lighter marks come forward. In striking contrast, an intricate Indigenous artwork showcases rock holes depicted in rich, earthy tones. On the far right, the gold and black of the Nerina Lascelles piece completes the space.

The artwork has been a focal point in driving the interior design
choices for the homes. I love that our homes are filled with Australian talent and that we have given them a platform to showcase their work. I can’t wait to work with Art to Art on our next project.”
