‘Sky Strata No.2’ moves from earthy reds at the bottom up through greens, pastels and into a darkened blue. This echoes my local Northern Rivers landscape, with rich volcanics oil, rolling green hinterland and big ever-changing sky. With the scale I wanted it to feel spacious and minimal, but when looking closer the many layers reveal themselves.
