Specialising in heavily textured abstract expressionist paintings, Adele is a Brisbane based artist with a passion for colour and movement.

Having lived in vibrant India for six months as part of her university studies saw Adele fall in love with colour and the way it reflected joy across circumstances, something she continues to explore today in all her pieces. Returning home, she dove back into painting and fell in love with the constant exploration this art form takes both the artist and their audience on. Adele loves interpreting light, movement and emotion through layers of expressive strokes and marks, and is obsessed with this creative process.

Adele has been shortlisted for multiple awards over the years, including the 2023 Lethbridge 2000 online, Inverell Art Prize, Fairholme Art Prize, and RQAS Highly Commended.

Most of all, Adele loves creating beautiful paintings that make people feel at home, and make a house feel like a home. The emotional connection of looking at something and feeling at peace is what she aims for.
