Marnie Hutchinson Awram has more than 30 years’ experience as a practicing artist. Having studied Fine Arts, she has lived in London and Europe before returning to Western Australia to work and exhibit as a professional artist. She has studied a Bachelor of Creative Industries (painting major) from JCU, and Design Project Photography at the University of Applied Sciences, Wurzburg University, Germany.
Marnie's practice explores ideas of memory, place and identity, using a multidisciplinary approach allows her to cross between traditional and digital media with ease. This is demonstrated in her interest in creating multi-sensory immersive installations.
