Lynda McKay is a Sydney based artist specialising in still life. She is focused on capturing a moment in time and finding the light, shadow and beauty of ordinary objects in a contemporary setting. She has maintained a lifetime passion for visual art and art history, and has honed her craft over many years, painting and drawing using various media. 

Lynda is currently working in oils, with a particular focus on uncovering the beauty in domestic and everyday objects.  In recents years she has exhibited at art fairs in Australia and has been a finalist is several art prizes.   She works from her home studio on most days and continues to enjoy the challenge of the creative practice.
