Geoff Cunningham
Originally from Albury, New South Wales, Geoff Cunningham moved to Melbourne to study graphic design at Swinburne University. After fifteen years in the graphic arts industry, he transitioned to fine art and has worked as a full-time artist since 2007.
Now specialising in stencil art, he creates works that bridge memory and imagination, using stencils as his language. Based in Melbourne, he blends photography, digital design, hand-cut stencils and spray paint to craft scenes that feel both familiar and a little unexpected.
While his technique is constant, his subjects shift—each piece layered with hidden details and quiet stories that invite a closer look and a deeper feeling.
