Six time Archibald Art Prize finalist, David Bromley is a well known contemporary Australian artist, known for his two main bodies of work; the boy's own adventure project, and his female nudes series.
Bromley's inspiration is taken from childhood books, popular culture and artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Glen Baxter, and his works typically take on a graphic, colourful feel.
David Bromley has exhibited in more than 30 solo exhibitions around Australia, as well as regularly throughout Europe, the UK, South Africa, Asia and the United States. He has been listed three times as one of Australia's most collectible artists by the Australian Art Collector Magazine, and has featured in the 2023 documentary; Bromley: Light After Dark.
