"This painting belongs to my more abstract-expressionist body of work, inspired by my muses, the Ocean and coastal topography. I love the stormy deluges above and below the surface by the coast. The tension in the air. The brooding clouds. The colours. The turbulences reflecting human emotion and tumultuous goings on.
The textural gestural brush marks, fluid paint drips and palette are my ode to the raw beauty of the seascapes and coastal regions of Southern Victoria and my passionate connection and love of these places."
