"Growing up on the South Coast I have memories of long summers snorkelling around the beaches at Flinders. I am deeply inspired by the life-giving waters of the oceans and what inhabits them. In ‘Anemone Drift’, I wanted to create a peaceful, soothing feeling like swimming underwater amongst magnificent coral reefs with the gentle sway of anemone and seagrass beds in the ocean’s current, as well as alluding to other biological worlds of cell-life and plant growth."
