120 x 100 cm Mixed media on Linen, framed in natural timber.
On my last day of school, my teacher wrote the most beautiful words in my farewell book. She wrote,
"Shruti, always keep your dreams in the clouds. Some will pass but others will fall down on you as rain. Nevertheless, there will always be a silver lining"
The canvas in this picture is a work in progress themed on a rainy day with Dandelions.
Dandelions as clouds, holding hopes and dreams like fragile seeds, floating and settling into new beginnings, It’s nature’s own metaphor for resilience, patience, and unseen potential.
Not all dreams materialize in the way we expect — some drift away, some nourish us in unexpected ways, just like rain. The dandelions reaching out to the breeze, hoping to take root somewhere far.
