“In this painting, I depict two Lego mini figures gracefully floating above a vibrant array of colourful Lego bricks, drawing inspiration from Michelangelo's iconic Creation of Adam on the Sistine Chapel ceiling. This playful reinterpretation combines the classic with the contemporary, highlighting the connection between artistic expression and childhood creativity. The Lego mini figures symbolise the act of creation, inviting viewers to explore themes of imagination and innovation while reflecting on the timeless nature of artistic masterpieces. Through this work, I aim to evoke a sense of wonder, merging nostalgia with a modern twist that resonates with audiences of all ages.”
