"At 27, I made the life-changing move from Argentina to Australia, fulfilling a long-held dream of living abroad. I’d always felt drawn to the English language and culture and, once there, I quickly found a sense of home, belonging, and creative inspiration.

Painting from Bathurst NSW, Yani (pronounced Shani) paints from an overwhelming need to express with colour, and a fascination with the way colours interact. Her works blend graphic gradations of colour, strong lines, and clear shapes, with the softer, personally evocative genre of still life and flat tablescapes.

Yani Lenehan's 'Parallel Lines' is a striking example of her artwork, featuring bold blue and white stripes scattered with vibrant citrus fruits. This tablescape captures a sense of energy and excitement, with a slight retro twist.

In order to bid on this artwork you will need create or sign in to your art to art account with your preferred email and password. Bidding is incremented by $50 and begins at the set starting price. The current highest bid price is displayed, along with the next minimum bid. You are able to bid over the minimum if desired.

Proxy bidding is open, allowing you to set an automatic proxy bid that will be triggered if the current bid reaches a certain price.

To allow fair opportunity for counter bids when placed at the very end of the bidding time. The auction will be extended by 1 hour if any bids are place in the final 30 minutes of the auction.

The winning bidder will be notified via email when the auction closes, with payment link and invoice provided. Payment must be made within 48 hours of notification of win, otherwise the bid will be considered void and the artwork will default to the next highest bidder.

Delivery is not included within the bid price of the artwork. The work may be collected from the gallery directly, or delivery costs can be calculated and applied according to the winner's location.
