David Hinchliffe

With more than 100 solo exhibitions, David Hinchliffe is a highly successful painter, sculpturist and photographer whose career has spanned over 50 years.

Known for his contemporary expressionistic painting style, his subjects are primarily streetscapes, landscapes and figurative work.

David believes anyone can paint if they have the right attitude and learn the ‘tricks’ of art. “Painting is magic. All magic is more or less trickery and I firmly believe anyone can learn it. The key is attitude and persistence.” – David Hinchliffe
