Tina Bennett
With roots in country Victoria, Tina Bennett has spent most of her life living and working in and around Geelong and the Surf Coast. Although she pursued Art and Design with a focus on Fine Art at University, it wasn’t until her children grew up that she found her way back to painting and exploring the captivating world of still life.
She finds immense joy in working with oil paints and loves arranging objects to tell stories, evoke nostalgia, and breathe new life into overlooked treasures. The allure of blue and white china, a passion inherited from her mother, permeates her work. Exploring reflections has become a passion, adding depth to her creations. Tina’s art journey is a never-ending adventure, full of exploration, learning, and a deep love for the beauty surrounding her.
Tina has been new to exhibiting since recommencing painting and has now proudly exhibited in Geelong and Melbourne at several galleries in 2024 onwards. 2025 saw Tina spread her wings with paintings heading interstate to Orange and Brisbane.
Tina had her first solo exhibition at Sequel Gallery – Geelong in November 2024, showcasing a series of still-life paintings with a focus on reflections, texture and light.
She utilised her photography to achieve this goal.
