Michael Wolfe

Having exhibited in over 30 solo and group exhibitions, Michael Wolfe's artwork is well known and regarded in the landscape field. He has exhibited widely in Australia and internationally and his work is included in public, corporate and private collections. He has also been featured on The Block as an artist in residence. For Michael, years of learning, training, honing, critiquing, getting by and making do, losing and finding, finishing and starting over and then starting over again go into each of his paintings. He draws on instincts both patiently and impatiently developed, his hands developing their own memory, and speaking through his paint in a vocabulary and compositional grammar to form his distinct artistic style.
