Anya Love
Having relocated to Australia from the United States during early childhood, Anya Love is a Melbourne based contemporary artist who produces enigmatic works weaving abstract and representational forms. Innate shapes balance with conceptualised renderings, where elements are depicted in a distortion to portray themes of interconnectivity, duality and expansion.
Any has trained in visual arts, design and worked in the photography industry, where she spent considerable time styling and executing the expression of form and composition. Her works are frequently rotated during their creation to ensure each phase is worked on from four distinct perspectives, with the final orientation revealing itself in the work’s concluding stages.
