Born in France, Catherine studied art in Paris before embarking on a successful career in the Uk in the advertising industry. Catherine moved to Melbourne, Australia in 2004, and has conducted solo and group shows in France, England and Australia, with her work represented in collection across Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia.
Catherine's work concentrates on powerful and emotional moments in time. Utilising energetic and sensual brush strokes, she expressed her love of paint and colour, and of celebrating people and emotions. Catherine's colours fuse, clash, appear and disappear in a dance, related to the volatility of the emotions she explores – joy, pain, passion, happiness, reflection, restlessness and intensity.
