"I first started drawing Lewis Caroll’s Alice with my precious Derwent pencils in Primary School. Alice and her Wonderland continue to take me to my happy place. Our own Charles Blackman immortalised Alice in his own much loved and adored playful style. As well as collecting his work I’m in awe of his interpretation of all the Alice stories.

In this new large oil painting I’ve created my version of a forever whimsical Alice and her cheeky white rabbit surrounded by bursting bright blossoms. Layers of dense, rich oils have achieved the desired depth and movement so the image waltz’s to the viewers eye."
