As an avid traveller and food-lover, Charlie Kuo's artworks have drawn inspiration from her experiences both at home and abroad. Often colourful and always mouth-watering, we're excited to introduce her works to our collection!
Living in Brisbane, Charlie Kuo is an emerging artist who has recently discovered a love of painting – an activity that brings her happiness and relaxation.
As a 20 year old, Charlie left home to travel and has gathered endless inspiration from the scenery, nature and food that she experienced, whether from across Europe or closer by in New Zealand. Each of Charlie's artworks have a unique personality and are carefully considered with structure, colour and theme. Despite this, Charlie find the process of painting uncomplicated and free from control – something she can work on for hours on end without becoming tired or exhausted.
Charlie's life motto is "Never try, never know," and it is this which spurred her to pursue her artistic career, along with the support and encouragement of her family. As a new artist, Charlie feels like she is constantly improving and discovering new skills, growing in confidence an expression.
